Which pet is the most loved and loyal to Man? Humans and dogs shared some of the strongest bonds ever, which is why almost all Homes have dogs. It’s said that a dog is loyal to its owner until the end and will do everything to keep their master happy. As you may have know, dogs are loved and adored everywhere in the world, except in countries where they are used for meat.

If you have friends who also love dogs, you’ll be aware, that certain persons love small dogs, whereas others like big dogs who could accompany them on a morning walk and give security by intimidating anyone who is thinking of doing anything wrong.

But without much delay, i would love to share with you, the World Biggest and Largest dog breeds in the world.

The Anatolian Shepherd is a special kind of breed which originated in Anatolia, which gives these breeds, the ” Anatolian Shepherd”

Like i said above, this breed of dog was first seen in Anatolia, Turkey and later grown in the USA, hence the name Anatolian Shepherd. This dog is tough, huge, and super strong with an excellent hearing ability and clearer vision than other breeds.

The Anatolian Shepherd is mostly befriend by farmers, who used the dog as a guardian of their livestock as this dog can catch any predator with its super-fast speed and flexibility. The average life of an Anatolian Shepherd is around ten years.

Another dog which made this list of the largest dogs in the world, is the Perro De Presa Canario, which is also called the Canary Mastiff.

The Perro De Presa Canario or Canary Mastiff is a very big and large dog bred. This dog is used for protecting big and small farm livestock. The Perro De Presa Canario Males can weigh up to 50 kg, while its female counterpart weighs around 45 kg.

The breeds of dog are usually aggressive towards strangers and surprisingly, other other dogs. It’s known to attack other dogs and strangers. These dogs live for around 9-11 years.

These breeds of dogs are not allowed in Australia and New Zealand as pet, because there have been several reported cases the dog attacking people, which usually resulted in injuring or killing them.

The Neapolitan Mastiff is the 3rd largest Dog in the world. They can weight up to 60 – 70kg. The Neapolitan Mastiff are also known as Mastino. These species of dog breed are usually huge and an old breed of dog. It is often used as guardians and bodyguards of family members and belongings as it is naturally protective and can look very intimidating to anyone.

When weighted, an average male Mastino weighs about 60 to 70 kg. The Neapolitan Mastiff Dogs are highly intelligent and pick things quickly, they are easy to memorize words and learn faster than most breeds.

Their Main weakness is been short-tempered. Hence, they require proper socialization because they could harm strangers due to their protective nature.

The Dogue De Bordeaux is also called “French Mastiff”. These breeds are huge Mastiff breed which are of French origin. It is very strong and has a muscular physique with long fingernails and protective edge.

The Dogue De Bordeaux breed of dogs are used in the past as protectors of castles of Rich and powrful Europe’s elite families. They have enough strength to pull carts and move heavy things without any help required.

The Weight of the French Mastiff  is between 50 kg for males and 45 kg for the female. The Dogue de Bordeaux has a shorter life when compared with other larger breeds.

These breeds can live up to 5 – 6 years with the oldest breed ever recorded, to have lived for 12 years.

The Newfoundland Dog is a huge working dog which origins can be traced back to Canada. These dogs are extremely loyal, possess super strength, and are highly intelligent than several other dogs.

The Newfoundland Dog is mostly used by fishermen and lifeguards, because they are excellent swimmers thanks to their webbed feet and swimming abilities.

The life span of an Average Newfoundland dog are known to live up to 10 years. However, they have a common heart defect, which can cause them to die prematurely.
